Custom Website Design

$1,000.00

Having had experience with Wordpress and Squarespace sites, I found that using Squarespace is my preferred method of website design.

I like to work within a two-week window with a definitive start and end date. This keeps me and you working together in a reasonable timeframe, without forgetting about one another and the project we are working on!

Once I get the items listed below in the "What I need from you.." section, we decide on a start and end date window in which we will work together and get your site delivered. I will confirm the dates with you, set up a few demo calls, etc based on the timeline and both of our availabilities.

What I need from you...

1. A Pinterest board with any imagery, colors, feelings, etc that you want me to convey on your site. The images, unless free for use, will likely not make it on your website due to copyright laws, however, it lets me get the vibe you are looking for. Please email me the link to this board whenever you feel it is in a good place.

2. Fill in my questionnaire (sent after purchase)

3. Send over any branding guides or logos. (If I created your branding and logos, then no need to send them!)

What to expect...

1. I will confirm the receipt of the above items, and send over any remaining questions I might have as well as the invoice for the work.

2. I will set up a Google Drive folder where we can share all logos, photos, and other deliverable items that will go with your site.

3. During the first week I will start on the website design. Within week 1 I will send a link to the demo version of the website.

4. Since I use Squarespace to host and create website designs, we are given a free 14-day window. If for some reason, you want to extend this time, then purchasing a domain from Squarespace will need to occur. I can help out with this process.

5. After the initial revision session, I will get to work and do a second and final revision session. At this point, I will also optimize SEO, transfer your existing domain (as applicable)

6. At the end of the revision work, I will add you as an administrator to your new website! With the administration login, I will deliver you a quick how-to guide on getting your payment set up with Squarespace.

7. You are all set up! At this point, you can learn more about Squarespace and how to manage your site on your own, or we can enter into an agreement where I adjust your site for a small hourly fee (email me at haile@raenandco.com for more details)
